[[Bob is currently standing near a pillar outside the Great Hall. This animal is huddled between the pillar and the wall, ill and emaciated, suffering from prolonged exposure and a fractured spine. Bob, of course, can do nothing concrete. Somebody help!!]]

I found... this animal outside my office. *waves a hand at the injured cat* It must have crawled in from the outside, it... its back is broken... *about to say more but stops uncertainly*

*listens to him before he looks at the cat, Jareth's expression running a mild gauntlent before he lowers his head and begins to slowly make his way towards the animal* How long has it been in here? *pauses as the cat looks at him and tries to move, drops his voice to a low murmer and attempts to calm said cat down*

*Jareth looks at the cat again before he crouches down and eases the cat into his arms* Shh, it's okay. *sighs* It really needs to be taken to a vet. I don't know if the school's able to handle animal injuries like this or not.

*sighs, pets the cat gingerly before he makes his way back to Bob's office, grabbing his skull* It's not a problem- I was looking for an excuse to go flying anyway. *a beat before he gives a very small, yet very genuine smile* Anyway, enough on that. Would you like to come with me to the medical wing?

Here -- *has been running his hands through various potions bottles; stops at a clay keg sealed with wax* The new stock of blood replenisher is in, and the nutritional supplements, but if I recall correctly, Skele-gro is counterindicated as long as the bones still exist....

Of course. *chuckles, takes the bottles and looks at the animal. Produces his wand and accios an eyedropper before he opens the bottle of blood replinisher and begins to fill said dropper* Should we blend the Skele-gro with milk to make it easier to take?

*returns to the cat and again sinks his translucent hands into its bruised back, attempting to locate each vertebra by touch*

Only if... hmmm... *eyes narrow* ..No, I think the bones need to be re-knitted rather than regrown. There should be a stimulant somewhere, but this animal is too weak to take it without time spent rebuilding his muscle mass and immune system. *looks up, eyes hollow* There's no quick fix for this one. He might be in pain for weeks.

Being in pain is better than having it die. *lifts the eyedropper and easies the animal's mouth open as he deposits the replenisher* If its muscle mass and immune system need to be rebuilt.. *thinks, grabs a blanket and wraps the animal in it* What are you doing the rest of the day? We could attempt to feed it here, or we could escort it to a vet and then act based on what's told to us.
