Further Announcement about Ancient Runes

I have been asked to clarify the requirements for next year's curriculum. You do not have to know a second language in order to take the class. It is called Ancient Runes, not Ancient Dialects. While the class will briefly cover the definitions, origins, and branches of language, those subjects will be strictly background material to the study of letters, runes, hieroglyphics, and other symbols used in wizardry. Bring your English, and you may actually learn something.

Strange... hold on a minute.

*floats up and sticks his head in the ceiling*

*descends* Ugh, I shall never get used to that sensation... The section hit by your spell is fixed, but the pipe is rusty for several feet and there's a significant portion in danger of giving way. Also, a pool of water has accumulated in the ceiling itself. A few more spells and a drying charm should do it.

*grumbles something about Hogwarts needing a matinence crew, fires off a few more Reparo's and a drying charm*

*sighs in ill-concealed relief as the dripping stops, raises brows at Jareth*
