Due to the recent atrocities, pending assignments for my class will be canceled extended until Friday. My most sincere condolences to those whose loved ones were affected by the attacks. Remember, too, that as a society, we are of a piece; what harms one harms us all. It is of importance in these troubled times to remember that.

I assume there will be a memorial gathering of some sort? Have we been able to obtain the list of casualties yet? Several of my pupils have expressed concern for loved ones in the area.
